Hey we’re Jac & Jill, sisters and co-owners of Jac & Jill’s Bakeshop! In 2022, we proudly opened our dream bakery in our very own neighbourhood of West Rouge in Scarborough East. We love being able to serve the community we grew up in, and nothing fills our hearts more than hearing, "This is exactly what the neighbourhood needed!"
Our daily bakeshop menu features soft-baked cookies, brownies, bars, French macarons and cakes. We believe in baking everything fresh from scratch with quality ingredients, and love experimenting with new menu items. We are inspired by seasonal flavours, and nostalgia for our 90s childhood.

As sisters we grew up baking together, and the kitchen has always been the heart of our home. Our entrepreneurial journey began after post secondary, when we decided to blend our backgrounds in Pastry Arts and Fine Arts to handcraft desserts that taste as good as they look.

We started selling at farmers markets in 2017, and grew to handmade shows and boutique stores. Our reputation has grown steadily from Durham Region to Toronto, thanks to our uniquely flavoured macarons and delicious party cakes. Within our first year of opening our bakeshop, we had the honour of being awarded Community Votes- Scarborough in 5 categories, including a platinum in Cakes.

In addition to our daily bakeshop menu, and a warm welcome, you’ll find products from local, women-owned businesses like handmade chocolates, artisan ice cream, handspun cotton candy, greeting cards, partyware and more!
